The Island Table

On this island, the day is shaped around the table. Morning begins by the water at EMA’s Dining Room, slow and unhurried. By afternoon, fire and sea air take over at Kreb’s Grill. As evening falls, everything gathers within the salons of the Akdağ Grand Mansion, where candlelight and conversation linger. Dining here follows the pace of Büyükada, long known for its culture of hospitality, where time stretches, and every meal becomes part of something more.
From Sea & Garden

The Flavours of Büyükada

The Marmara region offers a rich culinary landscape shaped by coastline, gardens and surrounding farmland. Here, menus follow Mediterranean and Ottoman traditions, guided by seasonality and provenance. Seafood arrives daily from fishermen along the Princes’ Islands coast. Herbs, vegetables and fruit are sourced from regional growers and the resort’s own gardens. The result is simple, expressive and deeply rooted in place.
